What is virtual mobility?

For most people in higher education mobility means exchange programmes and travel. However today there are digital tools and communities that enable rich virtual collaboration for both teachers and students. This is called virtual mobility and has been the subject of several international initiatives over the last 5 years.

In this webinar you will learn about virtual mobility and how it is being used today in Europe to enable staff and students to participate in international projects, courses and networks.

Questions to be addressed

  1. Are teachers and students ready for international online collaboration and if not how can we help them?
  2. We have the tools and methods to recognize student and teacher virtual mobility but why isn’t it common practice?
  3. What examples of good practice already exists?
