Giedrė Tamoliūnė
Dr. Giedrė Tamoliūnė is an associate professor at the Education Academy, Vytautas Magnus University. She is involved in European and national scientific and applied projects, including DI-daktika, WINDEE, EdTech Talents, and AI Pioneers, which explore the multi-faceted nature of technology-enhanced teaching and learning. Her primary research interests include AI in education, digitally competent educators, digital well-being, and adult education. In recent years, she has focused specifically on how AI is reshaping digital didactics, including teaching, learning and assessment, the role of learning analytics for learners’ engagement, and strategies that support teachers’ digital competences.
Being a senior specialist at the Institute for Study Innovations, Education Academy, Vytautas Magnus University, Giedrė designs and delivers teacher training courses for VMU teachers and educators from other formal and non-formal educational institutions. Since 2023, she has served as the Deputy Chair of the Steering Committee for the EDEN Network of Academics and Professionals (NAP).
