Daiva Urmoniene
Daiva Urmonienė obtained a master’s degree in management and business administration (with honors) in 2007. In 2019 she defended doctoral dissertation in the field of social sciences/management at the Joint Doctoral Program at Vytautas Magnus University.
Daiva Urmoniene is a chief specialist at VMU Innovative Studies Institute, responsible for consulting University teachers on the organisation of online and blended studies. She is also a member of the VMU Quality assurance group, responsible for the quality assurance processes of University study courses. In addition, Daiva is actively engaged in international and national projects in the field of adult education, educators’ digital competencies, and technology-enhanced teaching and learning. Her main interests and responsibilities focus on the coordination of non-formal online courses and open courses, as well as the management of professional development courses within and outside the University. Daiva is the Head and one of the authors of a continuous professional development programme “Digitally competent teachers”. Since 2022 is the Head of Administration of the Lithuanian Association of Distance and e-Learning (LieDM Association).
Research area: adult learning, digital competence, micro-credentials, technology-enhanced teaching and learning.
