Optimization of teaching material size
You can upload files up to 10 MB in size to the VDU Moodle environment. There is no limit to the number of such files in a course. If you have a file that is too large, we suggest you take the following steps:
- Save and submit the file in PDF format
- Use the free online tool https://www.pdfcompress.com/ to optimise (reduce) the size of the PDF file
- Or download the free program Free PDF Compressor for non-commercial use from http://www.freepdfcompressor.com
- Or reduce large PDF, PPTX, PNG/JPEG files using the free online tool Wecompressor from https://www.wecompress.com – user guide
If these steps do not help and the file is still too large, then
- Log in to OneDrive file storage with your VDU login details, upload your file, and add the OneDrive file link to the course
- Or upload the original file to https://www.wetransfer.com/ and send the link to nuotolines@vdu.lt. In the email, specify the subject and topic to which the file should be uploaded.
